Secrets of Karma Part 2 - Enlightenment

Today I am going to talk about karma and the mind, which is connected to karma.

Water the garden of your mind: how to use karma as a guide?

LIFE WILL GIVE YOU THE EXPERIENCE THAT IS MOST APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR EVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT. HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED? BECAUSE IT IS THE EXPERIENCE YOU ARE HAVING AT THE MOMENT. - ECKHART TOLLE

So you can think of karma most accurately as the energy you are creating in each moment. Every intentional action or thought creates that energy.

We feel it every day and this energy is not stored somewhere to reward or punish us later.

But be aware of it. If you react with anger all the time, you will accustom your mind to anger. If you react to things with calmness and peace, you will be accustoming your mind to calmness and peace.

All these qualities such as anger, frustration, joy, harmony, etc. can be seen as flowers and the seeds from which they sprout.

When we are born, all these mental qualities and emotions are seeds. Now imagine that all these seeds are waiting in the garden of your mind, either to be nurtured or neglected by your willing thoughts.

Depending on what you are doing, you are either watering the bad or the good seeds. These seeds may eventually grow into flowers or they may wither and die.

The important thing to realise is that the energy we are giving to these flowers is our karmic energy.

If we live with mindfulness, we can observe this karmic mind that we are nurturing with our thoughts, and then we can start to change our reactions to everyday life situations.

Mindfulness gives us the ability to choose which flowers to water and which not to water. Without mindfulness, we are simply reacting to the thought patterns we are used to from the past.

Therefore, in order to use karma for your own personal and spiritual development and to see it as a force for the common good, you need to introduce mindfulness into your life. In this way you will be able to identify karmic energy and start working to heal the karmic energy that is holding you back.

To summarise:

HOW OTHERS TREAT YOU IS THEIR KARMA. HOW YOU REACT IS YOURS. - WAYNE DYER

If we live with this knowledge of karma, we can leave behind the mental clutter and worries that we feel have been assigned to us without our consent, and instead take our destiny into our own hands.

Of course, external factors will still influence your life. But if you deepen your understanding of what true peace really looks like, you will have the ability to experience the fullness of life, no matter what is happening around you.

Karma shows that we have the freedom to decide what happens to us. It is our willed actions and thoughts that shape our lives.
