Today, I'm going to talk about how I get through creative blocks—when it seems like there's no inspiration anywhere, everything's blurry, and I don't know where to find my spark.
A creative block doesn't mean you're empty—it means you're full of something that's holding you back. Sometimes it's fear, other times doubt, and other times just exhaustion from everything. And because you're sensitive, because you feel things more deeply, it shows not only in your mind, but also in your body. It's as if something inside is holding you back and saying, "Wait. Not yet."
For a long time, I thought that creativity was something that had to be there all the time. That if you were creative, inspiration would never leave you. But I had to learn: creativity is not a machine, it is a breath. And like every breath, it comes and goes. And if I try to force it, it disappears even faster.
That's why today I no longer see creative block as an enemy, but as a sign. That something inside me needs space. Not to create for others, but to connect with myself first. To feel again why I create in the first place. Who I am without pressure. What would I write, draw, say—if no one were watching?
In such moments, I give myself permission not to create anything. To return to silence. To read, walk, dream. And then, in my own way, a sentence comes. A thought. A part of me that speaks up and says, "Now."
And this "now" is never perfect. But it is real. And that is enough.
Sometimes the problem is not that we don't know how to create – but that we want to create something that will protect us from judgment. And that stifles the soul. Creation is not a mask. It is contact.
So my only real advice is: be gentle with yourself when creativity is dormant. Because maybe it's just gathering a new form. And when it comes, it needs us whole—not exhausted, not broken, but ready to hear it.
