What’s on My Mind Right Now – Motivation

Today I’ll talk about what comes to mind when I think about motivation.

Sometimes we think motivation means a strong drive, perfect focus, and endless energy that carries us through the whole day. But the truth is, motivation isn’t constant. It comes and goes, like waves on the shore—and that’s completely normal.

What comes to mind right now is that motivation isn’t always a feeling. It’s not always that rush of adrenaline or sudden inspiration that moves us instantly. Motivation is often a quiet decision—to take one small step forward despite doubts and fatigue. Even if it’s just a shift in thought, a small task, a conversation, or the choice to try again.

We often wait for the “right moment”—the perfect energy or the perfect spark—but the real shift happens when you start acting. When you take the first small step, other things often start to move as well. Action creates motivation, not the other way around.

It’s also important not to compare ourselves with others. Everyone has their own rhythm, their own ups and downs. Some days are full of energy, others are calm, almost sleepy. And that’s okay. Motivation isn’t always loud—sometimes it’s a subtle, quiet decision to stay on your path.

And one more thing that comes to mind: every day is a new opportunity. It doesn’t matter what happened yesterday, or how slow your progress felt. Today is always a new beginning. Today you can once again choose to follow your path, to move forward, to create a small moment of success for yourself.

Sometimes it’s enough to simply say: “Today I’ll do one thing that moves me forward.” That could be one task, one idea, one decision—and that alone is enough to keep the circle of motivation going. Small steps add up over time, and without even noticing, you begin to create your own progress and energy.

Motivation is not a destination, it’s a process. It’s the decision to keep moving, even when you’re not sure. And it’s in that movement that your strength and perseverance reveal themselves.

With love,

Eva
