Today, I will talk about the world we enter every night, yet still understand so little about—dreams. Have you ever found yourself waking up in the middle of the night, sweaty or confused because your dreams were so vivid that it took you a few minutes to realize where you were? In my life's journey, I have learned that dreams are not just random images, but symbolically tell us what is going on inside us.
The most common dreams that usually scare us are dreams about death. Although they sound scary, in dream symbolism, death almost never means the actual end of life, but symbolizes transformation—something old is ending so that a new chapter can begin. Fire is a similarly powerful symbol. If you dream about fire, it often means strong emotions, passion, or anger boiling inside you that you need to express somehow.
Sometimes, however, we find ourselves in situations where we feel powerless. If you dream that you are falling, it usually means that you are losing control of a situation in your waking life or that you are afraid of failure. If someone is chasing you in your dream, you are probably avoiding a problem or confrontation that you would rather run away from. It is also very common to dream about teeth falling out, which symbolizes our insecurity or fear of losing our power and voice in society.
It is also interesting when means of transportation appear in dreams. Dreams about flying are usually liberating and mean that you have risen above your problems. However, if you dream about a traffic accident, it is a warning from your mind that you are rushing too much in life and that you need to slow down. Water in dreams is a mirror of your emotions—calm water signifies inner peace, while a stormy sea signifies emotional chaos. We mustn't forget the classic dreams where you find yourself naked in public, which indicates a fear of vulnerability, or being late, which tells you that you feel you don't have enough time for the important things in life.
Dreams are your personal tool for getting to know yourself. Instead of being afraid of them, try to understand them. I prefer to trust my intuition and symbols rather than what is written in cheap dream books, because your dreams are unique – just like you.
Since dream symbolism is often closely related to our everyday lives and our inner blockages, I can also help you find these meanings. If you are experiencing recurring dreams or are confused by symbols you cannot decipher, take a look at what I offer. Together, we can clarify what your subconscious is telling you and connect it to your current life situation. Don't let the important messages from your mind remain misunderstood.
Hugs, Eva
