Have a vision! Blogmas#17

Today I am going to tell you a story about two seeds that I read in a book about how you can climb over the wall that is in your way. The title of the book is: If you can't climb the wall, make a door. I do not know if the book exists in your country, but it exists in mine.

I have copied this story for you because it really carries a great lesson and for me personally it will come in handy one day for my motivation. I know it will help you too.

Your vision- get out of your comfort zone

It takes a lot of courage to dream big. People who choose never to take risks and live in a world that they watch on TV from their armchair are living in a fallacy, because the comfort zone brings no pleasure in the long run.

To illustrate these thoughts, I will tell you a story about two seeds.

One spring day a farmer planted two seeds in very fertile soil.

"I want it to grow," said the first seed. In time, it put down roots deep into the soil and sprouted towards the light. It opened its heart, from which a bud was born, and a few days later it blossomed beautifully. Every morning, the flower basked in the sun's rays. It was beautiful, happy and proud.

The second seed said, "I am not sure if I want to grow, I don't want to put my roots deep into the soil because I might hurt myself. If I sprout, the children will tear my flower off. So I think it's best if I stay here and wait to see what happens!"

One day a cock crowed around the seeds. He bent his head and watched the flower slowly unfolding with admiration. He scratched the ground with his beak and saw the seed lying in the ground, without sprouts or roots. So he ate it.

The story has a profound lesson.

If we are not willing to move forward and evolve, if we are not willing to take risks, life will eat us up. We cannot stay where we are, frozen in time. We have to move forward or backwards.

If we want to move forward, we will have to put in some effort, because we will have to fight to get to the top. Moving backwards is easier, because the path leads downwards. Personally, I prefer to move forward, even though I put a lot of effort into it. I do NOT like going backwards and doing nothing in the process. What about you??

That was a story about two seeds and I have added some extra motivation for you below!

Someone said, "If you launch yourself at a star and miss, you will land on the moon. But if you jump the fence and miss, you'll land in the mud." So it is better to aim high and miss than aim too low and hit.

So that concludes today's post see you again tomorrow!
