Find what you enjoy!

Something you can use today. How to find something that makes you happy. It's great for people with depression because they have lost touch with what really makes them happy. I recommend you share this post!

If there is any period, it is the period of teenage years when we discover, explore and grow as persons. Of course, we face many challenges, decisions and responsibilities during this period, but the most important question remains - what makes me truly happy? Here are some tips that might help you with the latter question.

1. Be curious

Curiosity is the basic drive to discover what makes you happy. Ask questions, explore new things and be open to different experiences. Curiosity will help you broaden your horizons and discover new passions.

2. Don't demand everything from yourself right away

You may have to try more things, in more ways, more times... This is not necessarily a bad thing! It's the only way to find yourself.

3. Try different activities

To find out what you enjoy, try different activities. Get involved in sport, art, music, dance, volunteering and other activities of interest. This will help you understand what works best for you.

4. Observe your reactions

Pay attention to your reactions when you engage in different activities. What fills you with happiness and energy? Which activities make you more motivated and enthusiastic? Discovering what makes you excited is based on paying attention to your own feelings.

5. Think about your interests and passions

You may already have certain interests and passions from childhood. Think about what you like to do when you have free time. Maybe you are drawn to drawing, writing, cooking, sport, music or science. Your existing interests can help you discover what you enjoy.

6. Talk to others

Talking to your parents, friends and mentors can give you valuable insights. Ask them what they think your talents and passions are. They may give you answers you wouldn't expect, but they will open up new realms for you.

7. Reflect on your values

Your values and beliefs can influence what makes you happy. Think about what is really important to you in life. This will help you to direct your interests in line with your values.

8. Don't be afraid to take risks

Some of the best things in life happen when you take risks. Don't be afraid to try new things, whether you're good at them or not. Taking risks can lead you to surprises and new passions.

9. Give yourself time

Understanding what makes you happy is a process that develops over time. Don't expect to know everything right away. Give yourself time to explore and discover your interests.

Why is it important to find out what makes you happy?

When you do things that make you happy, you feel fulfilled and happy. Your passions and interests can inspire you to achieve your goals and develop personally and professionally.

Knowing your interests and passions also helps you to make better decisions about your future path and career goals. Most importantly, working on things and hobbies that we really enjoy has a positive impact on our mental and physical health.

So discover, explore, allow yourself to make mistakes and don't be too hard on yourself. Believe me, we are all searching for ourselves and if ever, teenage years are the ideal time to search and experiment!
