Goals - Advice

Today, I will talk about targets. I think it is very important that we know what our goals are. I divide my goals into 2 parts, realistic and unrealistic, and also into short-term and long-term goals.

First of all, I will define unrealistic goals:

Unrealistic goals are not goals that are too high for your current financial or school status. Rather, they are goals that you think you will never achieve. It would be good to write them down somewhere. So that you can look back in a few years and see if you have achieved them. But there are also unrealistic goals that other people think are ridiculous. For example, I have been saying for a long time that I will retire at 30. I think that is realistic, but many people think it is unrealistic, so they call it an unrealistic goal. I have said many times:" If nobody laughs at your goal, it is not high enough". Which means it is too low.

But in general, for me, unrealistic goals are goals that other people find ridiculous and unattainable. But also ones that I find challenging. That I will be able to work hard and do my maths to achieve.

I have them for the long term. A goal that I think I can achieve in less than 10 years.

Realistic goals: They are goals that are short term (monthly, weekly, daily). And you know you will achieve them really quickly. Or as soon as they wake you up at 12 o'clock at night. At least that's how it is for me. I imagine them that way.

In general, I think it's very important to set a mix of realistic and unrealistic goals. That way you can achieve some goals immediately and others you can leave for later. Or you break them down into smaller goals or steps. That way you have an overview of which goal you have achieved and which you have not, and how far you are from achieving the whole goal.

So I think I have clarified the meaning of goals. Speaking of goals, I would like to tell you that on 27.2.2024 I reached a staggering 50,000 views on my Slovenian blog. I am very happy because I did not think that it would happen so quickly and before this blog turned 5 years old (5.5. ). I am very happy and I am looking forward to when this blog reaches 100,000 views.
