We deserve to be bored!

Today I tell you my story of how I realized that sometimes we deserve to be bored.

When I was in my 1st and 2nd year in high school, I always said to myself: 'Eva, make an effort now, while there is still time to make up for your bad grades, because if you're late you'll have a ruined summer'. That always gave me motivation because I knew I didn't want a ruined summer! But the summer I wanted was to be able to do nothing and enjoy watching TV all day. So in short, I was bored.

Nowadays I really love it even if it's only for 1 or 2h.

When I write a new post or clean something in the kitchen I am always happy and give myself a reward for doing nothing. Or I just nag people on the net or watch a youtube stream, whatever I prefer.

Every time we do something for ourselves or around the house (apartment) we deserve a reward for being bored.

I always hear people saying I'm bored and don't enjoy it. I do tell them a couple of things they could do (the post is also on my blog) but they don't do what I suggest. They prefer to do nothing. And they are not OK with that. Why is that??

I really don't know. I don't find anything wrong with doing nothing. Because even when you are observing nature or looking at the sun with your eyes closed, you are doing something!! You are in the moment and believe me, you take advantage of it!

Listen to the noise around you and you will see, hear and know more than you think! You will even notice much more than you ever did before. Try it, it's really not bad!

I always like it that way. Have you seen a film more than once? If you have, then you know for sure that no matter how many times you watch it, you will always find something in it that you never did before, like watching a film for the first time!!! That's what it feels like to be truly in the moment! You see things that other people don't, that you never noticed before but were always there. It's really a law feeling try it!

And that's the end of this post for today. If you want to talk about your new insights, please let me know in a comment or just reply to my gmail, because you just read this post. Of course, don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter! Otherwise you won't be up to date!  See you again in 4 days!
