Books for motivation - Motivation

Today I am sharing with you some books that I personally find good for motivation. Some (two) are great for laughs and fun. The rest is really just for motivation.

1. How I became stupid:

Description:

"Intelligence is a mistake. Just as the living know that they will die, while the dead know nothing, I think that being intelligent is worse than being stupid because he who is stupid does not realize it, but he who is intelligent, he must know that way he will still be humble and humble," ... ... writes young Antoine, who as a child "wanted to become the Long-eared Bunny, but when he was older, he wanted to become Vasco da Gama". Antoine begins his six-month experiment in self-loathing with drunkenness: "They pity drunkards, they treat them; they mean something from a medical, from a human point of view. While it never occurs to anyone to feel sorry for intelligent people: "My niece is an intelligent but lively girl. He wants out." In the third attempt, the young man just finds a way to become a "cradle in the hall of harmonious human machines." He acquires an "aerodynamic conscience that does not get stuck in the sharp edges of reality", he becomes rich, popular, and satisfied. Does that make him happy? Check it out for yourself. The young French writer's first novel is ridiculously funny, but above all, it questions modern values. He defines intelligence very broadly. He is more interested in natural curiosity and compassion than academic titles, the inflation of which we feel at almost every turn, and the power play of the "called". The prime theme, also found in Voltaire's Candide or Optimism and Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, is presented here at its shallowest (in terms of page count), but at its most entertaining and entertaining. , despite the hair-raising plot, is worth reading. The lesson that productivity isn't everything is a good excuse to hang out in a hammock for a few hours. What do you think?

In my opinion:

The book is really a lot of fun and opened up a lot of questions for me. Everything that is very important to me, I will share with you in the future in the book because I have notes. Now I make them for every book I read so that I can more easily remember what I thought was important in the book and what from the book could be useful to others, i.e. you. (I have all the books I will list today at home). The following book is also good for entertainment

2. Nicaea Nights of a lively schoolboy Rene Goscinny
Description:

Nikec is not naughty. He's just a lively kid. He is not afraid of teachers. Even if he skips classes, he misses school. He doesn't understand English and girls well. He likes his friends, but they often fight. When he runs away from home, he is soon home. The French illustrator Jean-Jacques Sempé and the comic artist René Goscinny in the stories about the naughty Nikc imperceptibly mingled among the naughty schoolchildren and described their antics with hearty cheerfulness, which made millions of readers around the world laugh. A film was also created based on their stories. The writer Goscinny also became very popular with children with stories about Asterix and Lucky Luke.

In my opinion:

I haven't read the book myself, but it's definitely on my list for the summer. Now on to books that are truly motivational and that everyone should read at least 3 times, if not more.

3. Angels of the Everyday by Michel Viewegh

Description:

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived. In this novel, Viwegh walks the line that separates life and death and looks at life from the other side - from beyond. For this, he creates four angels (Jofaniel, Hachamel, Nith-Haiah, and Ilmuth), a working team, which one of the angels calls Mortbanda. The author turns the time when death is approaching into a routine work task in the service of angels who accompany the dying and their relatives. To achieve a humorous effect, he modernizes the angels: he takes away their wings and introduces modern elements into the narrative (Doreen Virtue, virtual copies of books, home delivery of pizzas...), the relationships between the angels are often purely earthly and human. The workspace of Vieweg's angels is today's Prague with real street names, the people his angels deal with are long-time spouses Marie and Karel; the young widow Ester, who lost her husband Tomáš and Jarmila's son Zdenek, who was cheated on by his wife Lida with Filip, the son of the first married couple. Angels observe and evaluate the lives of these literary figures by determining whether these people are happy or not, whether they are still capable of marveling at life and fulfilling their desires. A work where the humor is nowhere so loud and intrusive as to trivialize the sad theme of dying, with touching scenes of the relationship between the dying and their relatives. A story in which the main message of the angels is kindness and work where the verses from Mách's May also move the angels.

In my opinion:

As I said before, I have notes for each book. I haven't read it yet, but I found it in one of the passers-by because you can take a book and bring something else you don't need. I don't want to put books down, because who knows when I'll be tempted to read if the title attracts me, it's always good for me. For the most part, this book is still in its original wrapper at home. But according to the description, it really seems like a good motivation to me. When I read it, of course, I share the notes.

4. If you can't climb the wall, make a door! Life principles that inevitably lead to success! by Dr. Charles Leves

Description:

Too many people think that successful people are successful because God is kinder to them and has given them less trouble than others. This is far from true! We all face problems on our life's journey. The only difference is how we respond to them. Some give up under the burden of unexpected complications, while others use them for personal growth and a step forward. Are you struggling with financial problems? Are you fighting for your marriage? Trying to get over the loss of a friend? Are you sad that you have lost genuine contact with your family members? Are you struggling with an illness? Do you have problems at work? Our life is surrounded by walls, in which all kinds of problems hide. If we want to move forward in life, we have to find ways to get through these walls or around them. No matter how big the challenges we face, we have to find a way to solve the problems and learn something from them. The saying goes that we must find something good even in the worst things. And what good could be found in trouble? 1. Problems change our perception and provide us with new opportunities. 2. They attract our best qualities to the plan and strengthen us. 3. Problems force us to change and thus have a positive effect on our self-esteem...

In my opinion:

The book contains a lot of positive thoughts and quotes from different people, as well as a lot of real stories of people who have succeeded. The book is really interesting and I love the stories of people who succeed because I am a successful woman myself. The next motivational book is similar to this one, only a little shorter. 3. Mental straightness is everything.

In my opinion:

I read the book myself. It's really great. I found this and the previous book in my grandfather's apartment (now in my grandmother's and mother's apartment). I have no regrets and the books are really great. I always have them on hand. I've already talked a lot about the next book, and I'll probably talk more because I've been reading it for 3 years and I'm still not even halfway through. Recently, however, I discovered that I have changed so much in the last year that I would have to start reading the book again from the beginning (also because of the notes). The book has 512 pages, which is really a lot for me. It takes a long time to even read.
