Today I am going to tell you the legend of Lake Bled, or Wolf Lake, as I call it, which is located in Slovenia. This will be a column because I will share with you my trips around Slovenia. Of course, I will add my pictures, so you will get to know my country a bit better.
Unfortunately, I didn't find the legend of this lake. But I found out that this lake is artificial, I really didn't know that before.
Why is it called Lake Bloško, because it is on the Bloški plateau.
It is also called Volčje jezero because it is located near the village of Volčje (I also heard about it for the first time before I started going there). I have to say that it is a very interesting name for this village.
There are also no records of how the settlement of Volčje came into being. We can assume, however, that it was due to wolves. I have found another wolf village near Brežice, but unfortunately it is not the right one. But it is possible that it is quite similar.

This post is not really dedicated to you, but it is for the sake of my friend who is writing her thesis at the moment and I wish her to finish it as soon as possible and to do well.
