Medicinal remedies for colds Blogmas#11

  Today, I'm going to tell you about some medicinal herbs I've found or know that I use to make tea when I have a cold. I won't share the pictures because otherwise this post would be so long that it would take you 3 days to read it. 


For colds;  


Yarrow, 

Garlic,  

Angelica/Woodroot, 

Garden Scrub, 

Mustard Seed, 

Scented Neckcress,  

Common Black Mint, 

Other mints- severe colds, 

Catnip, 

Marjoram

Origano, 

Garden Anise, 

Healing and Common Echinacea.

Cough;  

Common mallow, 

Horseradish, 

Gingerbread, 

Sunflower-seed, 

Biennial St. John's Wort, 

Poppies,

Common Gabes,

Small-flowered buttercup,

Scented Violet. 

Nasal congestion:

 Lemon.

Inflammation: 


Pelini-Anti-inflammatory,

Pine-less inflammation, 

Garden Marigold.

Immune system strengthening and dying: 

Chamomile, 

Fever: 

Elm-leaved thistle-Cold with fever, 

Common Strawberry-fever-reducing, 

Melissa-Cold with fever.

Sore throat: 

Hyssop/sore, 

Scarlet monarda, 

Thyme-sore throat and colds.


Expectoration: 

Fenugreek/Greek hay-coughing and inflammation.
