Sometimes they are just words that hang in the air and dissipate without leaving a trace. The world remains the same - with its problems, challenges and imperfections.

But the day... the day has power.

When you wake up to a morning that smells of a fresh start, when you meet someone who tells you with a look that you are not alone, when you feel in a small act of compassion that the world is not completely lost - that is when a day makes a difference.

It may not be the day that solves all humanity's problems. But it can be the day that saves your world. A day that pulls you out of the darkness. A day that reminds you that you are alive.

Sayings are just reminders. But it is the right moments, the right people and the right experiences that move us.

So if you need something to make sense of today - don't just look for sayings. Create a day that makes a difference.

I agree! Every day has its power. I have heard how a day can change someone's day, when you just smile at someone or say something nice to them, the day is instantly different. It doesn't take much to change someone's day or even their life. It can be abnormally fast. 

So go on, make a difference and at least put a little smile in the day of someone who is really ugly, maybe it gives them a little more hope in the world who knows.
