Today I’m going to talk about how everything in life really does happen for a reason – even when we wonder why right now. We’ve all heard this phrase countless times, but sometimes we only understand it when life shakes us up or stops us for a while.
Sometimes something happens that we’ve wanted for a long time, but the moment it happens surprises us. Other times something happens that we didn’t expect and confuses us because it doesn’t seem like the right time. But if we look deeper, everything happens exactly when we’re internally ready – even if we don’t know it yet.
Life has its own rhythm, much broader than our intellect. We may think we’re late, that it should have happened sooner, that we should have been “there” already, but the universe knows no delays. It only knows the right moment. And that moment always comes for a reason, which we only understand later, when we look back.
When we ask ourselves “why now?”, life is actually inviting us to trust. To let go of the need to control and let things happen in their own time. To believe that every situation has a purpose, even if we don’t feel like it right now. Maybe it teaches us something about patience, courage, or acceptance. Maybe it leads us away from what was not meant for us and opens the way to what truly is.
Trusting this flow is not always easy. But when we allow life to unfold on its own path, peace is born within us—the feeling that we are exactly where we need to be. And that everything that is happening is happening to bring us closer to where we belong.
Sometimes the answer to “why now?” is simple: because it is time. Not because we are completely ready, but because we are ready enough.
Hugs,
Eva.
