My God - Time for Me

Today I will talk about God. About that quiet, almost forgotten holiday that sometimes hardly anyone mentions, but still carries something very tender in itself. God is not a birthday, but it is also a celebration - not the birth of a body, but the celebration of a name, a soul, that energy that has accompanied us since the first day we were given it.

The name we bear is not accidental. It has its own meaning, vibration, history. We learn with it, grow with it and slowly fill it with our personal energy. And when God comes, it reminds us that it is really nice to have something that represents us, even if it is "just" a name.

This day is special to me. Not because I celebrate it in a big way, but because I have it together with my mother. I am not talking about what name it is, because that is not important - what is important is that we always connect a little more that day. It's as if we remember on an invisible level that we are connected not only by blood, but also by spirit. One day, one name, two different paths, but the same feeling of warmth.

Interestingly, my grandmother also has her birthday on the same day as her birthday. I find this to be something special — as if the universe tells her every year: this is you, in its most beautiful and truest expression. The birth of the body and the name day – combined into one day. Beautiful, right?

Although today we mostly understand the birthday more as a small reminder that there is something more than birthdays, for me it carries the symbolism of memory. It reminds us of all the ancestors who may have carried this name before us, of all the stories that are written in it. And also of that gentle gratitude that we are here – with this very name, which has its own path and its own meaning.

I don't celebrate it with a big cake or gifts. I prefer to take a moment for myself. Maybe I light a candle, look up at the sky and think of those whose names are connected to mine. And the feeling that comes with it is quiet, soft and warm. Kind of like a hug — one that you feel, even if it's not physical.

Birthday is not just a day when you are congratulated, but an opportunity to remember who you are. To feel how beautiful it is to wear the name that belongs to you, and that each letter in it hides its own power.

Hugs,

Eva
