Living Alone Part 9 - Time for You

A new chapter of the story today!

FIRST NIGHT IN APARTMENT 9

It was a good thing I’d already made the bed and put the sheets on. I was so exhausted I didn’t even dare to look. But I hadn’t put the sheets on yet. I just put the pillow and blanket on the bed. I packed the pillow and blanket into a bag I had in the car. Even though I know I shouldn’t have taken them out of the room, I had to. On Monday, I’ll go sort out the paperwork so I don’t run into any problems later.

“I’d better order a blanket and pillow right now,” I tell myself.

First, I changed into my pajamas and lay down in bed. I took my laptop out of my suitcase and started browsing the IKEA website. Because I’d noticed the other day that they also sell bedding. I checked the sizes of their pillows and blankets.

I found a blanket and pillow that fit my bed. I also found a throw that would be perfect for the couch I’ll buy one day. I ordered two throws—one in white and the other in beige. I’m really happy that I’ll get what I ordered; the description for all three items said delivery would be within three days. So, the shipment should arrive in three days. Good thing I bought a notebook and a pen at Hofer earlier.

“I’d better also look for the kitchen, living room, balcony, bathroom, bedroom, and toilet.”

I started looking on the Lesnina website for the kitchen, bedroom, and living room. I’ll check the IKEA website for the bathroom, toilet, and balcony.

After fifteen minutes, I finally found a wardrobe that’s a similar color to the bed. I’ll just have to measure it to see if the dimensions match. That way, I’ll also see if the wardrobe will fit in the bedroom.

The wardrobe has sliding doors, and there’s a mirror on the middle door. The first section has shelves, there’s a hanging rod in the middle, and more shelves at the end. In the right-hand wardrobe, on the bottom shelf, there’s another chest of drawers with four drawers.
