Many people still think that tarot is just a matter of laying cards on a table, meant for someone to predict the future or tell you when you’re going to win the lottery. In my "Insights" column, however, I look at tarot through completely different lenses. To me, these cards are not a tool for fortune-telling, but a mirror of the human soul and energy. I read tarot cards because they are an incredible energetic map that helps us recognize what our subconscious has known all along, but our rational mind doesn't yet dare to admit. The cards act as a conduit between our everyday life and the higher guidance and intuition I wrote about recently.
When I open the cards, I do not look for fixed fates; instead, I look for paths and solutions for current energy blockages. Each card, with its ancient symbolism, carries a specific frequency that holds up a mirror to us at a moment when we might be struggling with bureaucracy, fears, or clearing our circle of friends. Tarot does not take away our free will; it gives us the power to better understand the lessons life brings us. It helps us see where our "old matrix" is braking us and where we need to ignite our inner fire to move forward. For me, reading cards is a form of mentorship and spiritual counseling, where we connect through symbols to that deeper truth which is so easily ignored in the noise of daily life.
Throughout all these years of creating on my blog, I have realized that people don't need someone to predict misery or happiness—they need clarity and confirmation of their own inner feeling. Tarot is a wonderful tool that teaches you to trust yourself, as it shows you through archetypes that you already have all the answers within. When you see your situation drawn out on a card, that inner chaos subsides, allowing you to breathe easier and step onto a path of self-confidence. The cards are my ally in recognizing progress and guidance, which helps me assist both myself and those who seek answers in this sometimes rather slow 3D reality.
Hugs,
Eva
