Today, a new part of the story: Wealth
We changed our shoes and went to change into sweatpants. I changed and went downstairs to the kitchen.
"Lejla, would you like some coffee?" I asked her when she came downstairs.
"Yeah, sure. I could really go for one right now."
"Great. I'll make it."
"Sounds good."
Lejla went into the living room and turned on the TV. Meanwhile, I prepared the coffee.
"Lejla, would you like some cookies with that?" I went to ask her in the living room.
"Yeah, sure. Should I get them ready?"
"No, no need. I'll do it."
"Alright."
I went back to the kitchen, put some cookies in a bowl, and carried them into the living room. I went back to the kitchen and set out two cups, milk, and sugar. By that time, the coffee was brewed. I poured it into the cups, adding milk and sugar as well.
I carried them into the living room and sat down next to Lejla.
"Here you go, coffee's ready."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. The cookies are here on the table."
"Yeah, I'll grab some."
"Great. Should we watch Usodno vino (Destined Wine)?" I asked her.
"Definitely."
"Awesome."
I started the show.
It was already half past five, and we had watched two episodes of Usodno vino. By that time, my mom also came home. She sat down next to me on the couch, and we watched another episode together.
"What time is it actually today?" mom asked.
"It's seven o'clock," I replied.
"Oh my gosh. Is it that late already?"
"Yeah, mom."
"What would you two like to eat for dinner?"
"I don't know, I have no idea," I answered.
"Lejla?"
"I don't know. We could order pizza," Lejla suggested.
"Great idea," mom replied.
"Yeah, we really could eat pizza. I haven't had one in a long time," I said.
"Alright, I'll call the pizzeria and order the pizzas. What kind of pizza would you girls like?" mom asked.
"I'll have a classic one," I answered.
"Okay. How about you, Lejla?"
"I'll have a Karst-style one (Kraška)," Lejla answered.
"Alright."
Mom called Pizzeria Žnidaršič. They make the best pizzas there, and sometimes mom and I order pizza when we don't feel like cooking.
