5x10 summer ideas

Today I give you 5 or 50 ideas of what you can do over the summer. I'll try a few out myself and maybe report back to you. The ideas are fun and you won't get bored with them. There is another part coming next month, so you have no excuse not to enjoy the summer!!!

Learn to do things #yourself

One day without your phone and computer - can you do it?

Set up a bed net and enjoy the relaxation.

Discover your favourite spot in the city, whether it's a shop or the oldest tree in town.

Remember that drawer you put everything in? Yes, everyone has one. Get tidying and put it back in order.

Explore your local bookshop and pick at least one book that will keep you hooked this summer.

Pancakes at 2am? They've never been better.

Go fly a kite in a nearby meadow. Alone and barefoot. Awareness of your surroundings will awaken all your senses, and the connection with nature and the fearless wind will give you wings.

Find five new websites to pass the time when everyone's at sea.

Take a day trip by yourself in your car.

Get a temporary tattoo.

#Pledge yourself

Spend a day pampering yourself - homemade hair and face masks, a soak in the bath and a good book. Psst, and it wouldn't hurt to wash your make-up brushes.

Give your hair a summer break too - don't use heat during the summer.

No blow-drying, straightening or curling, let your hair breathe with its natural texture.

Try a self-tanning cream! If you're scared, try a glitter lotion.

Create a tattoo with sun cream: apply it in whatever shape strikes your fancy at the moment and the sun will do the rest.

Do 15 squats or crunches every day and admire the results at the end of the summer.

Over the summer, give up your worst habit and keep an eye on the results.

Carry a water bottle with you - drink at least two litres a day.

Discover a combination of clothes that suits you like never before and wear it to the hottest company party.

Change your summer make-up. Replace your black liner with coloured eyeliner, your lipstick with lip gloss, go for a punchier colour.

Strip away all the excuses and finally get some exercise!

#Create

Are you up for unusual art? Buy water guns, fill them with paint and create on canvas.

Plant flowers in a pot on your balcony or in your garden to cheer you up even when summer is over.

Create a unique T-shirt or piece of jewellery.

Arrange a photo shoot with a friend, one as the model and the other as the photographer - then swap. A new cover photo for Facebook? A checkmark!

Try your hand at nail polish.

Refresh the room with a new wall colour.

Send a letter to a special person. No, not by email, use a real letter on paper!

Open your blog. Here you can ask me for help!

Make your own cosmetic line with your name (or nickname): soaps, creams, even candles can be made at home!

Make a video from this summer's videos.

Be the best #friend

Call the person you've lost touch with and rebuild your relationship.

Go for a hike with your friends: at each crossroads, have one of you choose the direction. Where will you end up at the end of the day?

Wake up the child in you with a game of paintball. The last one laughing ... is wearing the least paint.

Go to an amusement or adrenaline park.

Find a trampoline with friends and have 15 minutes of uninterrupted fun.

Play a game with your friends: everyone chooses someone and gives them a playlist to work on over the summer, or at least until you get to the festival!

Treat the youngest member of the family to a trip to the cinema, which they can finish by creating with hand paints.

Go to at least one sporting event with friends (yes, watching football on TV counts too).

Throw the most outlandish party

Agree with your girlfriends to read a book every two weeks and then chat about your chosen book over coffee.

Enjoy great #tastes

Have a cocktail night with your girlfriends before you go out.

Extra challenge: create your own mix and name it.

Make frozen fruit lights (find a hint at: cosmopolitan.si/cosmo-lucke).

Your task: find the best ice cream in your city.

Make a birthday cake for a friend or family member.

Challenge: Change your favourite recipe to a healthier one - replace white flour with wholemeal, butter with coconut oil ...

Make homemade iced tea: experiment with fruit blends, add a squeeze of lemon or lime ...

Surprise your mum with a coffee at your favourite café.

Pick flowers, dry them and create your own tea blend.

Find a restaurant or shop that is open at night and have a midnight snack.

Invite someone you haven't seen in a while to lunch. Let exotic food be on the menu!

That'll be all for this post I enjoyed writing and you enjoyed reading so we/you/we both/you win. Jes! See you again in the next post in 4 days. Have a great day and keep it up.
